WASTE HANDLING

The waste press seperates most of the solid matter from the waste created during the peeling process. Waste from the peeler is usually pumped to this unit and the auger presses the waste to produce a cake of solids and starchy waste water.

Starch Recovery
Free starch can be removed from dirty water using the Nivoba Starch Cyclone System. Small single Cyclone Uit shown below:
