Sofia Tilting Washer

The Sofia batch washer uses a whirlpool washing system, which uses a fully adjustable whirlpool or vortex, with a constant flow of clean water being fed into the washing drum.
When placed in the washer, produce moves slower than the water, so in effect it is like holding the produce under running water, this gets rid of all the impurities even from the most delicate leaves like spinach without damaging them.
It is also able to wash irregular shaped vegetables and fruits washing and the perforated drum allows unwanted insects and dirt down the drain.

The Sophia can cater for over 1000 people and design ensures good results within a cycle time of 2 to 3 minutes.
